Lara Goldstein, M.S. CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist specializing in early intervention, pediatric dysphagia, and medically based intervention for a variety of age groups. Lara has a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Linguistics from the University of Delaware as well as a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from New York Medical College. In addition, Lara received her masters degree in Neurologopedia (Neuroscience of Speech Pathology) at the Universitat Autonoma in Barcelona, during which time she worked at Sant Pau Hospital treating adults with varying speech, language, cognitive, and swallow impairments. Lara has worked with medically-fragile infants doing early intervention as well as with the pediatric population performing speech, language, cognitive, pragmatic, and dysphagia therapy. Lara currently holds a full time position at New York Health and Hospitals-Metropolitan. Lara is proficient in both English and Spanish and holds an interpreters certificate to interpret within the New York Health and Hospital Corporation.
