Our Mission

The development of a child from birth to five years old is a critical period. Thousands of neural connections form in the brain and each experience that a child encounters makes an imprint. At The Indy Lab, we believe that a child’s first educational experience is paramount to their later success. It is during these early years that educators and specialists can inform parents on aspects of their child’s development to help them grow into independent and capable little people. We believe that having educators and specialists working together means we have the trained and skilled capacity to expertly exercise areas of development in each of our students. Through our play-based and gentle approach, we scaffold lessons by providing more or less assistance and making lessons more or less complex so that we can reach every single child at their individual capacity.

The Indy Lab’s original curriculum is designed by our team of speech-language specialists as it is based on language development, early literacy skills, and thinking abilities. We believe communication is the foundation of all early and later school success. Learning becomes extraordinarily fun and motivating when all aspects of communication come with ease. We want our students to start kindergarten happy, motivated, and eager to learn.
