Our Cooperative Preschool can be scheduled as a drop-in class or on a recurring basis as one of the many classes in our Parenting Center.

About Cooperative Preschool

A cooperative preschool, or “co-op,” is our young toddler program that allows children to get ready for preschool along with their parent or caregiver. In our co-op program, we give children a chance to learn with a preschool teacher, along with their grown-up, as we work through our Indy Lab weekly themes of each week and focus on socializing, playing and learning. As children get comfortable in our setting, they can move up to our drop-off preschool program when they turn two!

PARENT-CHILD ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

In our cooperative preschool program, children between the ages of 12 months to 28 months of age get to participate in a two-hour preschool program with a licensed Indy Lab preschool teacher. Students will experience circle time, read a story, play together and learn the weekly theme through sensory activities and process art projects. The focus of the curriculum for this age group is to let kids lead and expose them to a variety of toys, activities and friendships!

Our co-op program follows our preschool’s schedule, but with a more flexible schedule to allow the group to flow and decide what we are all interested in as a community. By allowing children to lead in this way, we encourage them to foster their own independence and engage in a wider range of experiences.

Flexible scheduling

The Cooperative Preschool program is part of our Parenting Center. To book these classes, you will need to sign up for one of our Parenting Center memberships. To book a drop-in instead, please use this: Co-Op Drop-In.

Our co-op program functions similarly to our preschool program. You can choose from two days, three days or five days to participate based on your Parenting Center membership and runs from 9:15am - 10:45am.*

*schedules may shift slightly depending on your location.

Make-ups are not permitted. Refunds are not given for missed sessions.

Program runs from September - June.
