Our Core Curriculum

Playful Literacy

A play-based early literacy segment for ages 2 - 5 focusing on phonemic awareness through play. Kids will learn book orientation, rhyming, syllable segmentation, and sound identification as well as sound-to-letter correspondence as they show readiness and interest.

STEM

Our program incorporates a daily, hands-on STEM activity that incorporates on our theme of the week. In STEM, we build thinking skills, problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and abstraction abilities. Projects include making dinosaur bones out of oobleck, painting with rocks and exploding volcanoes!

DRAMA

Every day, children pretend play with the theme of the week in our drama room. We use props to play “camping,” “traveling,” “the market,” “the bank” and so much more. Drama focuses on role-playing, socialization, and conversational skills as children are encouraged to spin the pretend into other play schemas!
